CrushOn AI not working?

Most CrushOn AI problems fall into five buckets: load, connection, credits, history and character quality. Work through them in that order and you will usually have an answer in two minutes. 18+

Quick triage

  1. Is it one conversation or all of them? One = character or context issue. All = account, network or platform load.
  2. Are you on a Pro or Ultra model? Switch to a free model — if it works instantly, the problem is credits.
  3. Does it work on a different device or network? If yes, it is local.
  4. Is your chat older than seven days and you are on the free plan? It was deleted, not broken.

Slow or stalled replies

Cause: peak-time load, a heavy Ultra model, a long conversation, or a weak mobile connection. Fix: switch to a faster model, shorten the thread by starting a new chat, move to Wi-Fi, and retry. Independent reviewers measured typical reply times at one to three seconds in normal conditions, so sustained waits well beyond that indicate load rather than your setup.

Error messages or blank replies

Cause: usually transient backend errors or a model that failed mid-generation. Fix: regenerate the reply; if it repeats, switch models. Clear site data for the domain and sign in again if errors persist across characters.

Login problems and loops

Cause: stale cookies, an expired session, or a password manager filling the wrong field. Fix: clear site data, disable extensions that block third-party cookies for the domain, reset your password, and check whether caps lock or an autofilled space is corrupting the input.

Credits drained faster than expected

Cause: Pro and Ultra models consume credits on top of your plan. Fix: switch to free models when credits run low — they are unlimited on every tier. Track which model you are on before blaming the plan. Full breakdown on the pricing page.

Chat history disappeared

Cause: seven days of inactivity on the free tier. Fix: none retroactively — upgrade to retain history. This is the single most common “it broke” report that is actually working as designed.

The character went flat, repetitive or broke character

Cause: the card is under-specified, or the conversation has run past the effective context window. Fix: recap the scene and continue, switch models to break a repetition loop, or move to a better-written card. See how memory works and how to write a card that holds its voice.

Mobile-specific issues

  • Keyboard covering input — rotate the device or scroll slightly.
  • APK fails to install — check storage and Android version compatibility; only ever install the official build.
  • Session drops on mobile data — switch to Wi-Fi; aggressive data savers can interrupt long responses.

Is CrushOn AI down right now?

Before assuming an outage: test a free model, test a second device, and check the platform’s own status or community channels. If free models work and Ultra models do not, it is almost always credits rather than downtime.

FAQ

Why is CrushOn AI so slow?

Peak load, heavy models, long threads or weak connection — in that order of likelihood. Switch model or network to isolate it.

Why did my chat history disappear?

Free-tier history is deleted after seven days of inactivity. Paid tiers retain it.

Why am I out of credits on a paid plan?

Pro and Ultra models consume credits in addition to your plan fee. Free models never do.

Replies are repetitive — what now?

Switch models to break the loop, then recap the scene. Persistent drift means the card is under-specified.

Who do I contact for account issues?

Platform support via the official site. This site is independent and cannot access accounts — see contact.
